Introduction
God has placed a deep and abiding yearning inside Pastor Wen Gallardo to bring His message of hope to the tribal people in the remote and politically unstable areas in the Southern Philippines. His Shamah Tribal Ministries is a partner ministry with World Mercy Teams. He dodged the bullets and risked his life to bring food staples to desperate refugees during the truly ugly flareup of the war between the Muslim separatists and the Philippine government in late 2008, and he continues to return again and again. These photos chronicle his most recent sojourn, which I have adapted into a mini slideshow.
